I recently watched the video on one of DeadlyFoez posts and he has an awesome Dark Red theme.

Would installing themes be a bad way to go considering I don't have access to bootmii? (I have a NAND backup tho)
    I have priloader 0.5 also...

first of all, update priiloader to 0.6
Then you should be good to go, priiloader should protect you from theme bricks (as long as you are using MyMenuify, not installing a system menu wad with the theme already on it)

What does priloader 0.6 do (better than 0.5?) also I've heard 0.6 needs a new system hacks file, can you link me to that? And it's that easy, just like
that? I thought some people said to stay away from themes alltogether.

the dark red theme he has is probably the one my team made you can find it in the link in my sig
also it is incorporated in to modmii so you can get it there too

always have priiloader installed when you install themes it can fix any theme brick apart from if you install the theme as a system wad yes i know modmii can do it as a wad but its totally safe its been tested my many people

still the best way to install a theme is with mymenuify
