Hacking Installing save files of online games (like SSBB) on different Wiis?

I managed to get a "WIISAVES" folder with my SSBB save in it (in its own way...)

My friend formatted his Wii for some reason and wants my Brawl save so he doesn't restart all over.

What'll happen to the online data? Will he have my friend code? Or will it make a new one?

If it's the former, is there a way to not copy the online data?

Your friend will have your friend code, your friend list and all your online records.

You have to remove the "NET0.BIN" and "NET1.BIN" from the RSBE folder before installing the save if you don't want to copy your online data

Another question: My friend can't even get the installer to run. (lulz) He keeps getting error -1. Do you possibly know what the problem is?

Is your friend's game the same region as yours? (NTSC or PAL?)

Yes it is. Though the problem might be because of his Wii. Hm...

He said he'll start over anyway.
