    Hello everyone!

I have an OLD 3DS with the lastest version (10.6) and I really wanted to downgrade it, I have a friend who have an hacked 3ds and the Ocarina Of Time cart, I saw somewhere I can hack my console with that OOTHAX without Powersave. But I don't know if that's true or not! And If is I wanted to know how!

Really thank you! I'm new to the 3DS Scene! :D

    Here, there and everywhere
Go to smealum's homebrew launcher page here: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and it is explained. Install smea's starter.zip in the 3ds folder on your friends 3DS and have him boot into the homebrew launcher. lauch the oot sploint installer (3ds wifi needs to be on to download the payload) with your cart inserted and follow the prompts. You will then have your own working OOTHAX cart to use on your soon to be hacked 3DS.

if your friend has a hacked 3ds then you dont need powersaves, powersaves is only needed when you don't have access to a hacked 3ds.

I already saw the video, that part is OK, Just drag and drop the files?? Btw, I think my friends hacked console version is like 3.0 or 4.0, the oldest ones I think. What entrypoint should I use first to install the OOTXHAX on the cartridge?

    Somewhere in this potatoland!
    Friend:
    - Instert Zelda OoT in 3DS
    - Boot into homebrew launcher
    - Start OoT sploitinstaller
    - Change 3DS system to your system O3DS
    - Change Firmware to your Firmware 10.6.0-31U
    - Let it do it's thing

    You:
    - Goto http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and download starter.zip
    - Unzip to the root of your SD
    - Goto https://github.com/d0k3/Decrypt9WIP/releases and download Decrypt9
    - Unzip the files to the root of your SD and the Decrypt9WIP folder nto the \3ds folder
    - Goto https://github.com/profi200/sysUpdater/releases/ and download sysupdater
    - Unzip it to the root of your SD
    ** Or use https://gbatemp.net/threads/wip-safesysupdater.409392/
** Go into \3ds folder and create a folder \3ds\SafeSysUpdater\ and put the SafeSysUpdater.3dsx in there
    - Get the 9.2.0.20U cia update files for your system (O3DS)(search that one site)
    - unzip all cia files in a folder called updates (or was it update)
    - Insert Zelda OoT into your 3Ds
    - Power up and start OoT
    - Choose the first save slot with all the hearts
    - Once the game is started, move and press A, Game will freeze and start exploit
    - Now you should boot into Hombrew Launcher
    - Start sysupdater
    - Press Y to downgrade
** If using SafeSysUpdater it's the same, only it will perform a check if all cia files are good before giving you the option to downgrade
    - Don't leave your system and check that everything is green after the cia files that passes your screen
    - system will rebooot after downgrade
    - Cross your fingers
    - Once downgrade is successfull

    You: (or friend)
    - Instert Zelda OoT in 3DS
    - Boot into homebrew launcher
    - Start OoT spoilinstaller
    - Change 3DS system to your system O3DS
    - Change Firmware to your Firmware 9.2.0-20U
(It should all be good if you do it on your own system, no need to change anything, but check to be sure)
    - Let it do it's thing

    You:
    - Insert Zelda OoT into your 3Ds
    - Power up and start OoT
    - Choose the first save slot with all the hearts
    - Once the game is started, move and press A, Game will freeze and start exploit
    - Now you should boot into Hombrew Launcher
    - Install MenuHax 2.2
    - Setup MenuHax like you want (Autoboot into Hombrew Launcher or whatever (Hold L to boot into Sysnand), Autoboot into sysnand (Hold L to boot into HBL) or choose whatever key you like
    - In Hombrew Launcher start Decrypt9WIP and make a sysnand backup (Very important!, don't skip this!)
    - Start Homebrewing ;) or setup emunand (that's another guide, search GBATemp)
    - Once MenuHax is setup, you can give the Zelda OoT cart back to your friend, no need for it anymore if you stay with this setup (not OTP)

Think i covered it all, correct me if i missed something

As far as I know the game only has to be the the same region as the console you want to exploit
