Homebrew Installing Legit CIAs With Slowhax(List Of CIA IDs In Post)

Are we on the same page? haha. What I tried to do is I installed a (universal) legit ticket and seed of MHX on my a9lh US n3ds. I then extracted the CIA file using dec9 hoping that it would turn out to be a legit CIA since dec9 injects the ticket during the process. After that, I proceeded in installing the CIA file on my stock o3ds v9.2.

A legit cia is a cia ripped from a 3ds that had the game as a pre installed title upon purchase. You can also install cia files from games you have already purchased on that console

IIRC MHX is only a legit cia in JPN. You can install that one and boot with hans with language plug

Yup, just tested if it would work (but apparently not).

2ds ive never found a card reader that didn't work. Are you plugging in the 2ds to the card reader unhooked from a PC, booting and then hooking up a PC?

Also did you see my edit to the post you quoted? That might work

Yup, My Transcend TR740ELAA3KGWUANPH-7488218 works on New 3DS, Old 3DS, and Old 3DS XL. But when I use this on the 2DS I bricked, it displays the bootrom err 00000200 just fine but the PC wouldn't recognize it. Also tried a kingston and some local brands here but nothing works, will try to borrow a different transcend with my office mate hopefully it'll work. Will wait for a day tho since he didn't have the reader with him today.

Yeah, I saw it. Haven't tried it but I think it would. However, it would defeat my purpose in doing what i did in the first place. Thanks for the advice. EDIT: I haven't found any legit cia for MHX, the only JPN legit cia I found on those iso sites are for tomodachi and mario 2.

It will only work if you already had purchased the game and for example it was pulled from eshop. This would be a working exception for people who had four swords, uninstalled it and are in 11.0-11.1 who want to use dsihax

Welp, well it was worth a try. Your options now are find someone with a cfw 3ds or get a hard mod. I'll gladly do it for you for shipping and a small fee to cover the dsi game and time

Thanks for the offer but I think i'll attempt it on my own since I'm a pretty hands on kind of person.There may also be more progress on the dsi save injections to include more games besides the 4 and of course we still have 33c3 Console Hacking 2016 talks coming soon.I'll keep your offer in mind if i get frustrated though.

From a certain site, I've managed to convert the ticket to Legit CIA and got it running on unhacked new3DS EU 10.3.0-27
Interestingly enough, it did not require repairing after installing it through NASA.

So SMW new3DS Legit CIA should work on EUR/US systems because they both use the US SNES Rom. I can't comment on jp n3DS because eShop uses a Japanese rom.
You might be able to run it because:
A JP n3DS can install the US Gen 1 Pokémon game and it even gets displayed on the HOME menu, but it will get stuck at the endless 3DS screen and JP eShop only has the JP Gen 1 copies to 'repair' it.
tl:dr. If SMW shows up on jp n3DS, there is a good chance you can run it.

Get FunkyCIA 2.1 and install phython. Then get the ticket file and funkycia2.1 files into 1 place and open a command window (Shift+Right Click to get command window option).

Then add this code. The text in bold is the part you need to change to match the ticket file.

thanks for the tips. I got a hold of the smw vc cia and used that instead of the tik and now have a new smw cia. is it ok? can't test it until I get home later.

I used the ticket and convert it into a legit CIA format so that the game can be installed through NASA.

I made a folder with some stuff you need to use it,Slowhax and some other things are inside.

To install legit CIAs you need to:
Run Waithax
Once it's done run FBI
Choose "Install CIA"
Then thats it!

Slowhax/Waithax will not work on 11.2

For me it only wants to install to SD so be sure you got lots of room on your card.

Note:Found out you can also use tickets(and seeds) instead of getting cias and go to FBI>SD>Tickets to install saved tickets.All region tickets work.
Newest update to FBI is bundled with Waithax.

The FBI/Tickets method is currently not working for me ever since the last update that added Waithax to FBI.

Run the standalone waithax .3dsx before running FBI. That's what worked for me.
