Installing large games from external hdd

How can I install large pkg/ISO from an external hdd (from external to internal ps3 storage). The ps3 only reconizes drives on fat32 but I cant copy files large than 4gb due of the Imitation. I wanna avoid using ftp or simmilar and prefer using a flashdrive. Is there any way to do it?

I personally use a NTSC 256gb thumb drive. I Create folders on the thumb drive example: PS3ISO,PS3GAMES,PS2ISO, etc and place the files inside those folders. Then I use IrisMan to copy from thumb drive to PS3 hdd.

pkgi on ps3 is a hassle. i can dowload the game but i cant play. it says i need a license.....i thought pkgi installs licenses aswell like on psvita. but found my solution
