    I won't say no, but I certainly wouldn't try an unverified IOS from an unknown source on my wii... not when its so easy to get the file straight from the cow with a NUS downloader.

    wait, maybe I misunderstood the question? looking for cIOS 202 right? like, hermes? in the first link I posted... not actually downloading an IOS202, but downloading 60 or 38 merged with 60 to use as 202...
    basically using the same installer but preparing the files ahead of time so it doesn't have to download them over wifi.

    Like bwillb said, you can download the files you need from NUS. Don't download 202 from NUS - download the IOS it is made of (IIRC, 38 is all, or 38 + whatever merge). The installer can install offline. Try getting rid of the stub 202 as well, if you haven't already.

    If you don't want to do that, NUS auto downloader may have 202 in it. Not sure

    wait enable usb 2.0? ok... maybe you should explain what exactly you're trying to do. are you trying to use a USB drive for homebrew like MPlayer or an emulator or game backups? if so, follow these instructions:

    go to this page: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/cios/hermes-cios

    download
    * cIOS222 Installer v4: http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=8367
    OR
    * cIOS222 Installer v5: http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=9681

    follow offline instructions for the installer version you downloaded.
    follow Guide for the installer version you downloaded.

    i've already what this says: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/us.../nus-downloader

    NUS (IOS > IOS 36 > v3094 & WAD)
    This means: Click Database, go to IOS > IOS36 > v3094. Be sure pack to wad is Checked and click Start NUS Download. done that now do i just install the wad with wad manager?

    i want usb 2.0 so i can use wiisx beta 2 usb 2.0 mod.

    okay that is just saying as an example if you needed to download that particular IOS, that is how you would do it.
    I can't find anything saying a particular IOS is needed for wiisx beta 2... did it say you needed IOS 202? If so, then you want to follow the instructions in the page I linked above.

    okay then yeah, that is what it tells you how to do in the link I originally posted.
    http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/cios/hermes-cios
    pick a version, download what it says to download for that version with NUS downloader, then follow the guide for the version you picked.
    not 100% certain on the different versions, but I know v5 works well for me.

    just make sure you follow the offline part so it has the files, that way the installer won't need to download them over wifi.
