Hacking installing homebrew channel on an upgraded wii

hi there. need help, bought my wii, and silly me went and upgraded it to 4.0e. now having problems putting the home brew channel on. trying to install it with banner bomb. banner bomb seems to be working but when i try to install the home brew channel i get a error about installing ticket?????. does anyone have a clue what to do? PLEASE HELP! any advise would be appreciated

hi there, thanx for the quick reply. i am a noob to this wii stuff. im pretty sure i have banner bomb working, but, i can not get bootme/hackme to work, it is a .ELF file and it doesnt seem to want to run it

It does. Make sure it's named boot.elf and make sure you don't have anything on your SD Card other than what you need to run BannerBomb and install BootMii.

Rename it to boot.elf and stick it on the root of your SD card

what versions should i use. tried a few different versions of banner bomb with the bootmii/hackmii .ELF renamed to boot.elf and it just makes the wii reset?

Ok, i got banner bomb to work. just still can not get the home brew to work? any ideas there
