Gaming Installing firmware on a psp phat (1000)

ok before anyone decides to come in here and have a go at me for making the topic forget it, i'm not interested, kthxbi

i just want the steps to be taken and the easiest method possible to installing custom firmware on a phat

yes i've installed custom firmware before but this ain't mine so i'm a little bit more bother about it and the tutorial i used disappeared

i want to use the m33 firmware because it's the easiest one IMO for me to do but the phat is on 3.52 firmware so this is my dilemma

what files to take with me?
do i need my pandora battery?
can i do it without a pc if i preinstall the files on the memory card before i get there?
do i need to upgrade to a higher official firmware first?
when i install the firmware which am i best installing and then in what order would you suggest upgrading it to get to the latest?

Get chickhen.
Run hellcat flasher thing.

It is a homebrew enabler that works with firmware 5.03.

The HEN stands for Homebrew ENabler. What you do is you put the tiff image and open it up on your PSP. The picture will then reset the PSP and run it in "HEN" mode. Then you run Hellcat's flasher which is basically a program that works like a pandora's battery.

However, I heard that it's a pain in the butt to run ChickHEN on a phat, some people complain that it took them from 30 minutes to two hours. Good thing is, you only have to run it once.

If you have a Pandora's battery already, why don't you just install CFW the same way you did on your PSP? I mean I still remember how to install CFW on my PSP granted it's different but hey, theres always a load of topics on google. Just saying.
