my friend has N3DSXL and she asked to mod her console, she already has 8 or 16GB mSD card, but i think it's class 4
she doesn't need that much space because she barley play on it but she want to play GBA games on it and 16GB is enough for her.

in the past very fast class 10 card was recommended for emunand, now the CFW on sysnand, will the speed on class 4 is going to be a problem? or it's like having a stock frameware?

"Class 4" means the card has minimum guaranteed 4 MB/s write speed. It doesn't say anything about maximum speed or read speed.

A Class 4 card should be fine, considering the 3DS usually can't even hit over 5 MB/s.
