I have a 250GB hardrive thats partition to wbfs
If it is required I could partition it to fat32&wbfs

now, is it possible to install the wad files onto the usb? that way I won't be forced to use the wii's very limited hardrive space?

You'll need to setup Triiforce and use that to run your VC and Wiiware games. Go read one of the guides.
Also, you'll have to use cIOS Rev 17, it's the best Triiforce compatible cIOS out.

Or use uLoader it does the same as Triiforce and also allows you to have your Wii game saves stored on SD/USB.

NO WBFS. It's only for Wii-"Discs", not more. FAT32 is your only choice right now for loading WADs from SD/USB. If you want to know how you're doing it, search please.

...Ok, I'm telling it. But please, use the f*cking search next time!

    uLoader:
-Create a Folder named "install" in the root of the USB-Device
-Place the WADs you want to be installed in it.
-Start the latest uLoader, it will automaticly install the WADs. (cIOS r5 from Hermes required)
-Go to the FAT-Icon in the right corner, start the game.

    Triiforce:
-Make a Dump with the latest "Simple FS Dumper" to the USB-Device.
-Use "ShowMiiWADs to put the WADs there
-Start Triiforce (MRC?) and launch your games (requires cIOSrev17)

You should better use uLoader, much more Noob-Friendly and easier. Oh, and compatibility isn't that great, some games won't work.
