I have a feature request. For the text colors, can you make them accept hex values as input? I want to be able to delete my theme.ini, but I can't make an exact replica of it with just slide bars.

i'll make something to help getting colors from ini file

but remember that in the ini file the colors are 32 bit value so they have to be converted to 16 bit to be used on the nds
and it's possible that you'll never have the exactly same colors are in the .ini

new version is out

added:
import theme: select a skin directory to get all pictures/colors from this theme
export theme: save the actual skin to a themexx folder (xx=numbers)
you can select a main directory to store all of your skins
export picture: save the showed picture to a file

in the color editor : load colors from a R4 skin ini file
use a.ini file to edit the colors in place of the sliders


note that due to 16 bit conversion if you load colors from a.ini file and export the skin the values in the.ini file may differs from the original .ini file.

Hi, there's a new bug with this program and the latest R4 firmware (1.10). It seems to read and write too far into the file, causing an offset image and games no longer load (code being overwritten). Please fix, I love this program

The author of injektor posted this morning on the R4 DS forums:

i'm not dropping the project but i can't work on it for now because of a lot of work at my job that keep me from coding because i'm too tired when coming home

new version of injektor is out, now the tool can adapt itself to new kernel versions (this has been tested with v1.08 to 1.10 kernels)

the first time a new kernel is used generate a .ini file (this may take a bit of time and may seem to hang the program this not happend the next time you use the same kernel )

@qusai i would like to be abble to code on a mac, but i don't have one yet...

Thanks again for this. I didn't want to update to 1.10 without it. I did notice an annoying difference in the new firmware though.

It seems like the text "Game" from the main menu can no longer be removed. And the text "Games" on the top of background 1, as in "[/] 0 Games" seems to be linked to it now. If you delete one of them in injektor you delete them both, with the exception of the "s" at the end of "Games". Then after you boot the R4 it seems to add the text back into the menu automatically anyway. Not sure if there's anything you can do about it, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

What version are you using? The one fixed for 1.10 worked fine with 1.11 for me.

what's new for /1.06/

when exporting a theme, injektor now will export the usual files
bckgrd_1.bmp
bckgrd_2.bmp
icons.bmp
logo.bmp
theme.ini
and also create a subfolder 'injektor_ext-theme'
and export there the icons and other IU stuff normaly not skinable
the files with the .trn extentions are transparency informations

when importing a theme, injektor wil now import the usual files and the content of the
'injektor_ext-theme' if present

this to allow you to distribute full skins the same way as regular skins


added 2 buttons "darken picture"
"hilight picture"

these button darken/hilight the curent picture by 20%
warning it's a destructive command and you can mess the picture completly by
hilighting/darkening it too much so keep a backup of you're original graphics
before using with it

added button "create icons from bg pict"
this one will make a 3D effect out of the background picture used for
the icon menu
making a kind of icon out of the background



changes

patchs: the save/load patch are no more compatible with the old versions due to a bug(fixed now)

next versions will still be compatible with the curent patch system

display: the order for displaying the pictures is more logical

fixed a bug that crash injector when trying to grabs icons from the grabber with no image in it
fixed a bug with the patch system corrupting graphics
