If smealum is working on it then this means it is not far from releasing right? I mean most likely would come out in mid January 2016. This is just my prediction so don't get jumping on about it.
Well Smea simply provided information about it, he never said he was working on it or anything... Basically no garuntee that he will be personally releasing anything... He did basically give us as much info as we needed to exploit it however

Yeah, he, plutoo and derrek pretty much paved the way so people can figure how to pass from userland on higher firmwares.
I'm also very curious about that "ARM9LOADERhax" that they teased tho

Arm9Loader was what encrypted parts of ARM9... You didn't understand the talk did you?
I'm about to give it a rewatch too, the hype has made me forget a few things haha. It was a really awesome talk, and much much more was released than what I thought there would be
Welp... thank goodness i kept my N3DS on an old firm... Probably because the browserhax purge. IDK if my o3ds will get love on 10.1 but i got ninjahax from when it came out...

I had no clue what they were saying in the talk either but it all looked awesome. I'm amazed that they actually managed to do it. All I understand is that we have new entry points and kernel on 10.3 and lower. What would be the point of downgrading if we have that on the latest firmware?
So we can still downgrade to 9.2 on New3DSs on 10.3 with memchunkhax2?

Yes to the first one, and not quite to the second. That would need ARM9.
So we need to downgrade to 9.2 with memchunkhax2 first to "yarr harr fiddle dee-dee", or am I wrong again?
