Either Infectus wants to show off or something the wasabi guys did pissed them off, but they are in the process of releasing the wasabi firmware for they're very own Argon chip. Very impressive on the part of Infectus.

They are even audacious enough to have it posted on their welcome screen in their homepage.

Take a look http://www.infectus.biz/ (watch the flash pop-up)

No, there was a lot of misinformation posted on for instance maxconsole. What infectus tries to prove is that dvd updates are outdated and that jtag update able modchips are the way to go. But still people thought dvd updates where an advantage.. so infectus has announced they will put the dvd feature in to show they can, even though its outdated and ''old''

Their press release referred to it as the "BULLSHIT" DVD upgrade. Very professional! [IMG]

Im an Argon/JTag owner and this confuses the hell out of me.

Are they releasing an update that all Argon owners can get?

Or are they releasing a brand new chip or something? Confusing.

    Hey Tragedies
Its an update probably for infectus, maybe not argon yet
But its pointless if you already have it installed
You would need to solder your argon off and put it on new points

The wasabi works like a wiikey, not like an argon/d2ckey/dpro

The wasabi alters the RAM, which is quite detectable apparently.
So you are better off with more wires
