Indivisible launched today on the Nintendo Switch, without the developer's knowledge

Good news: Indivisible is now on the Nintendo Switch. Bad news: the port released without the developer's knowledge. Lab Zero member and Indivisible developer Mike Zaimont took to Twitter to express his confusion and shock at his game launching without him knowing. Indivisible was slated for launch on the Nintendo Switch sometime this year, though it had no concrete release window and ended up surprise-launching today. 505 Games appears to be behind the Switch version, as they were the publisher. This version of Indivisible, according to Zaimont, "runs at a stable framerate", and says the port is excellent work, though it's an older build of the game that lacks certain newer features that were patched into the game on other platforms. It also, apparently uses the wrong key artwork on the official eShop page.

You can currently grab Indivisible for a special launch discount price of 20% off, making the game $23.99.

Never really heard of this game, but I saw the title and was like "What, really?" So here I am commenting about it.

This doesn't surprise me, actually. After what happened with Cooking Mama (which is not exactly the same thing, but I'm trying to make a point), it seems that publishers will do whatever they want to games not made by them. Better, IMO, to develop and publish the game yourself if you want to ensure that the game will be handled the way you want it handled. If you insist on a publisher, RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PUBLISH. I can not stress enough why an ounce of prevention (and a bit of beforehand knowledge) is soooo much better than a pound of cure.
