After a three year long wait, Inchworm Animation is finally arriving on Nintendo DSiWare in North America, on April 25th.

Inchworm animation is capable of producing flash quality animation and high resolution bitmaps previously thought impossible on the Nintendo DSi.
I think this looks absolutely fantastic, and really maximises the artistic potential of the Nintendo DS at long last, better than Animanatee, Flipnote Studio, Colors DS or Phidias can. It's not free though, but it only costs 500 points.

I remember seeing this long long ago. I was really excited about it but then my hype died down when I realized it was barely mentioned. I'm glad its released again. I'll get it on my 3DS.

    Yes, you can.

Once the eShop is released on the 3DS, you can download DSiWare games including this.

Oh wow, this thing is massive. Can't wait for the 3DS eShop to open up (because I don't have a DSi)

And then I will get Shantaes Revenge and Cave Story too *yaySidescrollingAwesomeness*

Don't think I'm familiar with it, but it looks pretty good. Might get it when it's up.

This looks insane! Flipbook was such a good idea, but didn't have enough features.

I hope when you run it on a 3DS, the stylus will draw a little smoother (When you use the Game Notes on the 3D, it writes so smooth).

There's already homebrew applications similar to this.. (Mark, SIMILAR) They are called Animanatee and FlickBook. Animanatee can even render animations to .avi and export to your microSD. Very cool!

I hope the European date will be released soon.. I NEED this application!!

Reason for bump: Game Released! Impressions time.

This DSiWare app was released on the 25th of April but I haven't heard much about it on the internets. However, Nintendo Life did give it a 9/10 so I'm wondering: Did any Tempers get this and is it any good?

C'mon Temp artists, speaketh up! [IMG]
I've got exactly 500 points left and want to spend them wisely!
