In the US, is it illegal to rebroadcast an ATSC signal as ISDB-T?

I'm considering importing a moto mod for my Z2 that was only released in Brazil. A portable TV mod. However, it only receives signals in ISDB-T. Here in the US, we broadcast as ATSC. Is it legal to rebroadcast ATSC signals as ISDB-T?

This is digital TV btw, not analog.

I don't know but it's probably covered by the same standards as analog RF modulators - license free up to a power limit that's clearly intended for personal use, as long as you don't interfere with others

Personally, I would look at something like HDHomerun and stream instead.
