In the future will the dstwo be able to play 3ds roms?

I know that right now it cant play 3ds roms, but since it has its own cpu and extra ram, with a software upgrade will it play 3ds roms.

No. The DSTwo CPU isn't an ARM CPU and cannot run binaries created for ARM processors natively. In order to run such code, it would need to emulate the target ARM architecture, which would require it to be significantly more powerful.

    Exactly what McHaggis said.

On top of that, Supercard is a company, so if they where to create a 3DS flashcard, they most likely would make an entirely new card for you to purchase.
