Currently I have my Nand backed up on my computer. Is there anything I should install in the chance my Wii U bricks. Is the Nand backup just enough? Right now I'm using Rednand so what should I do to be able to recover my wii u if it breaks?

If running Rednand anything you do to the Rednand will just brick the Rednand not sysNAND. For sysNAND restoration should you brick that you call only use a hard mod at the moment.

I remember someone making a unbrick method. You need quick start on the game pad enabled. Google how to do that.

I think you're talking about the coldboothack brick.
They said you can exit the boot loop with the quick start menu.
I don't know if it worked in the end.
