i think it should be burg der träume thats why the game cant show my position on save

could be the reason that it dosnt load
wrong area name

when i edit the name i get the same crash
i dont now how i can edit it correctly
the area name shows 3 times in hex i really dont now how i should edit it

No the name is fine. Thats not your problem. The hex editor shows just a different encoding. You are looking on raw bytes of data and save structure is not always human readable.

More importantly you need to look for specific offsets in the save and validate specific areas if they are valid or not or if there is trash data (due to save error e.g. Also look for hash sums inside the saves. Since nobody reverse engeneered the save structure it is up to you to do it and find those informations by comparing different save games.

I'd say it is much faster to start the game from scratch.

did you uninstall the game and updates? does the game have an update? I have the game, but I'm at the very beginning, so I can't help there. I've found issues with saves and games. I think the save and game must be for the same region or the save won't be read. I learned that with poi. I knew something was up when the coins wouldn't go through, stating that the account was for a different region. in that regard, it's still kinda region locked.

i have uninstalled the game 2 times
i dont delete the updatedata yet . the game have a update
but when i delete these save i can make a new game and a new save and the game load it perfect
and the save should work on pc too but on pc it dosnt load it too

I don't know how viable this is as an option, but you might look at the save that doesn't work and hex compare it with a new game save.

dunno. I haven't exploited the switch, but it may be one of those things that you can fix. try making a new save on the pc or something, then comparing the header. it could be as simple as that.

is that a save with the system or on the pc? I'm not sure about a ps2 save, but I've learned that psx saves start with SC in the text field, and go on for 8KBs. the ps2 uses a file system I believe while psx was just a raw save. I'm thinking we might be able to learn something with a save from a different system.

its grandia1 and a new working save from the switch + a new working switch from pc has ever 4kb i dont now why


i see you have so many saves no one is mid game???? i could try to load one of these

I'm referring to the granda 2 settings. now, that's making it even more confusing. I don't know what to suggest. the only thing I can suggest doing is to see if you see any similarities between two saves. it's possible that they may be encrypted, but the SC thing is correct. a lot of converters add their own header, but you can find the beginning of the save whenever you see SC.
