There's an extra fee to watch the inflight movie, you can bet there would be an extra fee to play the PSP.

I wonder how they will make the wireless play against other people work?
Isn't that prohibited in a plane, because it could interfere with other things in the plane and cause problems?

probably won't have wireless play if they think it will cause any problems

I know that, else I wouldn't have asked how they would make it work, right?
Maybe they'll block that function or so, kind of sucks, always fun to play against the guy/girl next to you!

Most likely have an inflight wired connection like most of the games on planes where you select the seat of your opponent etc

If the airlines will force you to put away your own DS, iPod or PSP and play their own, then yikes.

It'll probably be the 3000, but then again, it may be the Go so that it can support games installed onto it...

I haven't ever turned off my phone during flights, nor have I not used the wireless of my GBA, DS or PSP. It does NOT interfere with anything.

This...i always have my phone on and play my DS online on flights...all flights i go on are from one country to another i never fly short distances so it would be pretty boring if i couldn't use those things.

Like having phones in a fuel station. They always have signs saying to turn them off and yet they've proven on Brainiac and (perhaps more scientifically) on MythBusters, that there's no danger. I wish they'd get over themselves.

I've never been in a plane, so I wouldn't be sure whether I'd turn a phone off or not. I wouldn't have a need to use wireless multiplayer anyway...

I work at the airport and let me just say, cellphone interference DOES affect the planes navigational system. That's why the flight attendant crew all urge you to turn off all electronics. When you are up in the air, they let you use your gameboy, ds, or ipod, but they never let you use cellphone during any part of the flight.

This is partially true. The thing is, not ALL airlines have this "shielding". Mine is one of them. [IMG]
