Homebrew in-app purchase on out-of-region console?

With the release of *hax 2.5, romhacks are now possible, which means fan-translations should be possible without custom firmware. I'm on 10.1.0-27U so that's good news for me and I'll be keeping an eye on the fire emblem if fan-translation.

But my understanding is that the only way to get the 'Invisible Kingdom' portion of the game is to buy it in-app. Does anyone have any experience with this and know if it's possible to buy things from a different region? My gut feeling is no, but obviously I haven't tried.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
