    "1>c:/Visual_Project_Files/Testomundo/Testomundo/source/main.cpp(13): error: 'alec' was not declared in this scope"

    and it is erroring out with
    any glaring issue i'm missing? Most of my programming experience is from Dbasic / basic, so I am, for the most part, unfamiliar with the visual environment

    should it be alec_pal? because alec.pal is declaring a structure i believe

    already tried it - " error: 'alec_pal' was not declared in this scope"
    also tried alec.pal.c

    look in the all_gfx.h file too see what you should be calling it

    If this is a capitalization issue, I'm shooting myself in the foot.

    edit: thanks a lot [​IMG] loading my gun now

    C is capitalization sensitive so it your problem probably was that you were calling it with the wrong capitalization.
