Hacking Importing save files into into PKMN Yellow (Cartridge) using R4

I recently just learned that one can import a GBA Pokemon save file (from a rom) to a GBA cartridge using a DS Lite and R4.

Will this work for the GBC titles too? I plan to import my Pokemon Yellow sav. file to a cartridge.

I'm new to GBATemp so let me know if I'm breaking any existing policies. Thank you

DS Lite only interacts with GBA games, and GBA games only.

No. But if you have a homebrew'd N64, you can use this tool to save/restore save files within a physical GB/GBC cart.
