Hi there, yesterday, I changed the HDMI Port on the PS5 of my cousin, as it was destroyed by being dragged across the room with a still attacked hdmi cable.

It was my first PS5, I have done a couple PS4 and Xbox Series consoles, but this was quite challenging.

At first, I managed to desolder the fricking tiny cap on by the pins, but managed to find and reattach it. After tinning the pads and the pins of the new port (with leaded solder), I heated everything from the bottom and could somewhat nicely solder in the new port.

Then came the first shock: I only get 480p and only an image, while the colsole tells me that "it hasnt been turned off correctly and checking if everything is fine" etc. After the console's led turns white and it is now "on", no picture. But, even when I have the 480p, the TV keeps loosing the hdmi signal every 1-2 seconds for like 1-2 seconds, repeatedly.

I checked again and found 2 traces to be torn, so I repaired the traces, checked the two repaired traces, they do not touch each other and have a good diode-mode-reading, so back together and: 1080p, yay, but the flickering is still there...

We checked: 2 different TVs, different and a brand new hdmi cable, no flux in the port. The cap is still there and is soldered on both sides. Every component seems to be still there.

The repaired lines are for the Pins 9 and 10 (like in the picture shown, sorry, no better pic available as of now)

What went wrong guys? I don't know what I could have done wrong... Any ideas? Maybe a faulty hdmi port?
