It just fails when it runs out of space. It's one of my pet peeves about Decrypt9WIP.Does Decrypt9 check to see if there is enough space left on the SD to dump the NAND and warn you, or does it just fail when it runs out?

Anything you need to know?
1. It can give you FAST CFW boot speed. SysNAND fast. That fast.
2. You can brick your 3DS while downgrading to 2.1.
3. You can have an Updated sysNAND
4. You can brick your 3DS while installing arm9loaderhax through the .3dsx.
5. You can use Decrypt9 on FWs > 9.2
6. You can brick your 3DS while restoring a sysNAND backup after getting your OTP.
7. You cannot boot your 3DS into the home menu without an SD Card if you have installed arm9loaderhax
8.You can brick your 3DS if you touch it.
And so what if i want it on my sysnand?Read fully through the guide, it'll explain everything. You make emunand, back up emunand, downgrade it to 2.1, then inject your back-up to bring the emunand back to 9.2 (in my case 9.0) after getting the OTP out of it.
I can't find truth in 8, 2 is a one-time thing and is pretty safe anyway, 4 is a one-time thing - but, I've switched versions of A9LH many times, never bricked my 3ds (anyway, now SafeA9LHInstaller is out, which is very safe), and 6 applies to every time you restore a NAND backup, not just in this situation. Really, A9LH installation is much safer than it is made out to be.hmm now 2 4 6 and 8 kinda scare me.
At the "installing arm9loaderhax" section.hmm at what point of the guide can i use SafeA9LHinstaller? I have been meaning to ask what does it do and how does it help in my case.
That's okay! And do you mean you haven't read to that part or haven't gotten to that part, meaning, you are currently going through the A9LH installation process?Ohh never made it to that part. Thanks and sorry![]()
Alright, that's actually smart, reading over it before diving in to the process. It'll give you an idea of what you'll be doing ahead of time ensuring there'll be no surprises. I will never forget the first time I followed the guide, I didn't read ahead, it was the first guide to be published, and I had no hard mod. So, when I got to the part where it said (something along the lines of), "restore your downgraded emuNAND to your sysNAND", my reaction went a little like this, "HOLY CRAP WHAT'S GOING ON I THOUGHT I WAS DOING THIS IN EMUNAND NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". But I did it anyway, because I'm an idiot entitled to immediate gratification!Just casually reading it. I want to spend a good amount of time in it tomorrow.

Does it at least tell you it failed or it ran out of space or something?
It'll tell you that there wasn't enough space to complete the dump (you know, an error message). Not doing so would be very dangerous, because you may restore that dump to your sysNAND, and guess what? You've got yourself a nice ol' brick. It probably just gives an error
Downgrading is the worst part, by far! The rest is pretty dang easy, really.I'm almost on the same track here. I've completed all steps before the actual downgrading to 2.1. I'll save that for tomorrow, it's 0200 here now. So far so good, but the scary parts are still to come.
