I hope i'm in the right area. I currently have an AceKard 2i, but the wait for AKAIO 1.8.2 is killing me because I'm waiting for ages for Golden Sun DD.

Its gunna cost about 60-70$ australian so its not exactly something I'm going to buy without talking to some people who currently own it, so to those who have them, can I get some feedback?

If you're only going to buy it for GS don't bother.
I have both an AK2i and a DSTWO, both are great, both run GS DD...

If you want a better cart with more features however, it's totally worth the 35 US dollars. Idk how the conversion is with AUS soooooo idk.

I got mine for better compatibility with AP and stuff, and GBA/SNES emulation.

It is an amazing cart imo.

How is the GBA/SNES emulation? Do you have to download emulators for either (both) of them? Or can you just put the roms on the root on your card?
How do the GBA and SNES romsplay? Are there any problems with either of them? I had Super Metroid on my R4 using SNEmulDS, and it didn't work all that well, so I took it off. All the other games I've put on there (Mario All Stars,Mario World,Zelda LTTP) have worked fine so far.

Its the best Slot one GBA emulation.
And its the best SNES emulation.

You have to download the two emulators from Supercards site tho.
the SNES emulator actually has a few unofficial updates on Filetrip tho, much better!
The only problem i have with SNES emulation is that, if you want to get the FULL view of the game, you have to squish the picture a bit, not terrible and DEFINITELY still playable.

But over all it's worked wonders for me.

GBA emulation has worked on every game i've tried, slight slow down when a lot is happening on screen with a few games tho.

If you want it for DD, just get a better MicroSD card and you can run it, it will cost you a lot less than a DSTWO as well...

Obviously please don't buy DSTWO just because of DD. It's really stupid to do that but if you want to buy for overall performance like having extra nifty functions, or having iMenu or playing games, it's worth the money.

Yeah, I'm about to try it.

I already have a slot 2 device, although I may be getting a DSiXL soon, so I may get it for that.

Whats the best site to buy it from that ships to aus?

The other reason I want it is because I'm coming into some disposable income, and it will make me be able to play any DS game.

I say get it. I've had mine for almost 3 months and love it. I upgraded from a DSTTi... lol...

GBA is fine, and SNES is decent. I like real-time-save. Good to be able to save in something like Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story when your battery is 'bout out and you need to save and can't find a save block! The cheat finder thing is good too.

Thanks for the reply. I ordered one from zeroshippingzone earlier today, as my R4 arrived from them in great condition and worked fine. I really wish I would have gone with the best option right from the beginning, but now I guess I have a backup in case anything happens to either one.
