of course both ps and xbox use analog trigger
If you can share some sources and prove me wrong I’d be happy to learn more

But as far as I know they do not. PS dropped analog support at the PS4. Xbox one never had analog support from my understanding

Analog is pressure sensitive triggers. That’s why you can’t use Xbox one and ps5 controllers to play games like Mario sunshine on dolphin properly

They have analogue triggers.

He made up his own information and upset himself lmao
As usual. :glare:

His first post didn't make sense to me, as if all of it was derived from an article that doesn't go into too much detail. Companies do this so that they don't spoil the experience before its release.

You're confusing the pressure sensitive buttons the Dualshock 2 & 3 had with the analog triggers that almost every modern controller except the Switch ones have (L2 & R2 for Playstation).

I too am disappointed in Nintendo and will let the sales clerk know when I buy my Switch 2 that I didn't appreciate them waiting until 2025 to finally reveal the system.

Just kidding. I just want a more powerful machine that can play major 3rd party games well. Better folder structure and an easier to navigate menu would be nice...but not a deal-breaker.

It's no surprise that Nintendo consoles no longer offer extra functionality. We've practically ruined it for ourselves by exploiting features like the Wii's mail service, the Wii U's browser, the 3DS theme menu and the voice recorder. Each additional feature creates a potential entry point for overflow exploits. When the Switch was released, it felt as if Nintendo was like the fun teacher who finally got fed up with being too lenient. Now, we'll have to settle for the bare minimum. Even though I don't regret we went that way, I kinda miss all the funny UI design they made throughout the years.

Respectfully, you have no idea what you're talking about. The UX could be exactly the same, but if the specs are anything like the rumors, we're looking at a significant generational leap

That's why I am disappointed. No one needs this bland, shitty GUI again. Just give us a CLI to launch games at this point.
I mean, I guess that would be a viable thing to be disappointed about, but you mentioned "slightly better hardware" in OP, which you know nothing about AND are assuming the same UI just because there's backwards compatibility? The 3DS was backwards compatibile and has no UI similarities to the DS. The DS has no similarities to the GBA. Wii had no similarities to the GameCube. And the Wii U, while similar, was pretty different from the Wii.

And I just want a stronger Switch to continue to play GAMES and not watch a freaking start menu.

well tbh 3ds's home menu is pretty similar to dsi (not original ds or dsl), but that's besides the point

Nothing's officially confirmed yet and op's already complaining about it's shitty ui.. yeah right, can you make some comments on the new mario kart 9? Does it have nice track designs? What about the level design of mario odyssey 2?

The real issue is Nintendo playing the hybrid game. They should release an actual home console with a power supply & better active cooling with higher clock speeds. Their portables should use cut down/under clocked hardware. Portables are for children. Grown adults that work, pay their bills, raise their children will rarely find themselves in a situation where they will have the time to play a portable. Grown adults are more likely to be at home in front of a TV when they find themselves in a situation to play games. The Switch was nothing more than a joke. Struggles to run games at acceptable resolution and frame rate.

141m sold Switches must been one heck of a joke. RT and DLSS etc doesn't sell systems obviously, but the games. Which the Switch got a lot of fun ones.

They literally just admitted it's going to be New 3DS again.

This means a lack of themes, folders that are almost useless, a bland and boring HOME menu, and a laggy eShop for another 7 years - just with slightly better hardware and some new button inputs.
Wow so you have the switch 2 on hand and can make judgementy on it already. Plus a console is bad because of UI? So judging a console on UI and not the games it can play yeah I agree with you UI is more important than everything else so yeah why is it a big deal. it is not as if switch 2 is the only way to play games, I mean get a steam deck or portable pc and then you can customise the UI to your hearts content if UI is so important.

You wrote this like a fish that gained sentience but still very true.

The one problem I have with a lot of beard balms like that is that they smell so intensely that it's like the only thing I can smell for an hour
  • Veho @ Veho:
Question, what does a beard balm/wax actually do? Is it just a hair oil product, or does it act as a gel and shapes it or what?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Yeah it's a hair oil, kind of like a leave-in conditioner, but it also helps to keep your skin under the beard moisturized a bit, and since it is oily it does help a tiny bit with helping it hold its shape or lay flatter especially after brushing it

I rarely ever use it, really only if I'm going out and trying to look/smell a tiny bit nicer. Kind of like how I treat cologne lol

The one I have right now that I use every once in a while is tobacco + vanilla scented. It smells -fantastic- IMO, but same issue, for like the first hour or two it is just an ever present scent that I smell on every single inhale.
