    But... 70 bucks?
    Is that the right price?

Nope the M3 Adapter is so good now it supports SDHC for Media and Movies. Soon they'll have full support of it for games.

I'd get a EZFLash IV Lite Deluxe as they are a ton cheaper ($40 less than M3) and have better GBA performance than the M3. EZIV GBA performance is nearly 100 with no slowdowns.

My M3 on my GBAs works great. I've never had a problem with it, and they are easy to use. Though they are expensive. Get one.

    Where did you read this?

Anyway, I had an M3 Lite Perfect. It was great, but I sold it since I didn't need it anymore (got a 3in1, which IMO is better)

YOu have to remember that the NDS soundchip is in no way equal to the chip of a dedicated MP3 player. You will not get the same sound quality regardless of how well your MP3s are encoded or software is written...Its the just rule of handhelds. But M3 is good enough if you want to use it as a mp3 player. Just I always keep my devices separate.

I have an M3 Mini Perfect and I love it!

I havent had any problems with any GBA games.

It is $70 well worth it. I havent used the EZIV, so I couldnt tell you how good that one is.

Nevermind I think I found it myself. Some new Chinese firmware apparently adds SDHC support for the M3 slot 2 devices.

From what I was told, the M3 Perfect has the best GBA support. I have a Zen Vision W for music and movies. Its really just for ebooks and gba games.
