    Hello everybody!

I am new-ish! I've been lurking GBAtemp for just over a year now and have finally decided to register for an account and start posting. =)

I've modified and fixed a handful of Wii's, as well as my own XBOX360 (which unfortunately is banned, I bought it banned for really cheap). I'm starting college in September for Computer Engineering Technology, so I hope to be coding relatively soon. I've been building desktop systems since I was 13, and I'm excited to finally learn more about software.

Anyway, I spend way too much time in front of my computer doing nothing. So here I am, and post I shall! :3

Nyaa, I'm not really sure yet. I'd like to create a homebrew app that essentially virginizes a Wii, but I know it will be very complicated because I want the program to look at the Wii's hardware and decide from there how best to go about doing so (in terms of what system menu to install, etc.). It's just an idea now and I don't know if it will ever happen, but it's something to think about.

I've just always been into computers (since grade 1) and I know my preference is hardware but I'd really like to get well acquainted with software, and be able to apply my knowledge wherever I can. Where better than here? So, short answer to your question: I don't plan on coding anything in particular, but I do plan on coding avidly. =)

That's pretty cool, like downloading virgin IOS's and/or completely wiping a nand back up, making it virgin? That would be pretty damn awesome.

Yeah, that's the general idea. Complete factory reset so to speak. As close to out of the box as I can get it. It would be nice to have options to keep all your save files and such. It's going to be a big project if/when I get around to it, but I'm definitely not there yet. =x

I would welcome you, but you sound like you came here to take over my kingdom of the shoutbox. I would never forgive you if you do that.

    But well, welcome.

Well, though that may or may not be the case, I have to fix my flashcarts first before I can or can't get around to that.

So you'll just have to wait and shwee what happensh. [IMG]

I thought it was T squared too.

Am I right in thinking that you can have superscript in usernames here?
