Hacking I'm assuming by now I can play cia/3ds files on my 9.9.0 Jp 3ds if I have custom firmware?

If so, how do I go about doing it specifically? Are there different steps and things I need to download for a Jp 3ds or because of it's version?

* I was never able to homebrew but now that my 3ds is out of date I'm hoping I can jump on the train.

you actually could jump on the train since january. just use this to downgrade to 9.2 and install arm9loaderhax so that you have cfw at boot https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Get-Started
