To hardmod you need to sorta disassemble your 3DS. If you disassembled it, the problem might be a faulty flax cable connection.I don't own a hard mod.
I bought this thing used when it was still on 9.5.0.

Do you mean I need to install a hardmod or am I just trying to fix a cable? To hardmod you need to sorta disassemble your 3DS. If you disassembled it, the problem might be a faulty flax cable connection.
You removed your back plate? That could only be the answer to this issue if you have.I don't own a hard mod.

What do you mean by back plate? You removed your back plate? That could only be the answer to this issue if you have.
Then faulty flax cable connection isn't your issue. What do you mean by back plate?
I took off the cover to gain access to the microSD slot. (The same place as the battery)
I didn't disassemble any further than that.
I dont think that should assume that yet because he said that their is a blue light that instantly shuts off meaning his that it cant read the a9lh.bin which means proably bad sd card.Hardmod.
I've also tried to boot without an SD card at all. Same problem.I dont think that should assume that yet because he said that their is a blue light that instantly shuts off meaning his that it cant read the a9lh.bin which means proably bad sd card.
If someone tried to hardmod their 3DS, they would have to open it and when re-asembling it, the screen flex cable have the chance to not be connected correctly, meaning that the screen would turn on even if the console did. Imagine it the same as booting a console without some sort of HDMI cable connected.I dont think that should assume that yet because he said that their is a blue light that instantly shuts off meaning his that it cant read the a9lh.bin which means proably bad sd card.
I never tried to hardmod it.If someone tried to hardmod their 3DS, they would have to open it and when re-asembling it, the screen flex cable have the chance to not be connected correctly, meaning that the screen would turn on even if the console did. Make sure the sd is formated corectly to fat 32 and 32kb and it sounds like you havent set up sd cardless luma a9lh boot.I've also tried to boot without an SD card at all. Same problem.
As I said, that couldn't be your issue.I never tried to hardmod it.
Are these format settings correct?Make sure the sd is formated corectly to fat 32 and 32kb and it sounds like you havent set up sd cardless luma a9lh boot.
No you need to use a application that can be found at here 3ds.guide read over it it should be before pressing get started. Are these format settings correct?
I ask because FAT32 isn't among the options.
I formatted FAT32.did you format as fat32 like gamemasteru03 suggested, or did you format as exfat?
if you formatted your card as exfat you need to redo it as fat32 using a tool like guiformat. http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm
Pretty sure.Is it formatted as a primary partition on FAT32 with 32kb clusters?
just wondering, Was your OTP on the SD card? That should be confirmation that the hack went through, but it either sounds like a full brick or files are missing on the SD card.It didn't work. I think this thing is officially dead.
The exact problem is that when I press power the light fades in, stays on for less than a second, and then it fades out.
