Hacking I'm a terrible uncle and i feel bad, will nintendo even cover

I was playing around with my nieces ds lite and accidently drop it causing a it to be chipped in the lower corner of the ds, i know they won't cover for my stupidity but it doesn't hurt to ask, will nintendo even fix this?

I doubt that a skin or decal will cover a corner, it's really hard to do so they don't design them to do it.
Does she or anyone else know you did it, or can you play innocent?

post a pictures of the damage then we can determine what action you can do.

Depending on the damage you can either get a protective cover or get a new ds lite shell and replace it making the ds lite look like new.
this happen to me when my ds lite's hinge broke and the only fix was to get a ds lite shell. It made my ds lite look like new, it even fix the shoulder buttons. Replacing the ds lite shell is no easy task since it requires you to open the ds and put all the parts into the new shell.

This is probably you're best bet. Just look for the GBAtemp Replacement guide and another guide to aid you along the way.
And look for a replacement case on www.dealextreme.com, or any other sites recommended by GBAtemp.

Check with Nintendo to see if they can repair it for a cost or buy a new one. If you open it up to replace the case, depending on what part it is (if it is just the lower shell that should be easy since the hinge is on top), then you can just replace that piece. If it is one of the parts that has something to do with the hinge, you run a big risk of damaging the console if you have not done this before. Keep in mind though that a generic shell will not look exactly the same as a genuine one unless maybe it is a black console. You could also buy a new one and sell the old one on ebay. Someone will buy it.
