Hacking Im a noob. My bootloader gx boots me back to the homebrew channel after i start a game.

I just switched to a external hardrive with the same results a black screen. I dont know what to try next.

Just to save face i saw your messsage xflac and to me the general synopsis was that it should work and those mods you suggested were not essential.

Have u tried multiple games? Try reripping a disc. Have u tried using IOS250 in the game specific settings?

Have u tried more than one usb loader?

Are u trying to load another region game? Try fiddling with the video mode settings

I figured it out guys it was my usb loader. I used wiiflow and went to file explorer and changed the path to my external hardrive. It found the games and works like a charm

But u said you got a blackscreen when launching a game... how can the solution be finding the games when presumably you had already found and loaded them and got a blackscreen?

Anyway, we went about it in an unorthodox fashion, but I guess problem solved

Sorry for the confusion mate, my usb loader gx always found the games, but would go to a black screen. So i downloaded a loaders from modmii which turned out to be wiiflow. Before when i tried wiiflow it never showed the games because the file path was set to sd rather than usb. Changed the file path it loaded the game directory clicked on it and it was good to go.
