why can't we install games/dlc from the eshop the same way we can on the 3ds after having the ticket installed on the system?

yeah, now that i think about it the wii u never had any pre-installed game bundle for sale.
that means tickets might be handled differently on the wii u

Isn't that the same with the 3DS?

There is the Wind Waker Limited Edition with Pre installed Wind Waker. As far as I remember, the game is not downloaded via a Coupon, and afaik is still downloadable with a different NNID after formatting.

you can if you have wupinstaller and the nus files on the sd card
but you can't download/redownload games directly from the eshop even if you have the ticket installed

eShop deletes unauthorized tiks in memory if some are present.
That's why you can't illegally DL from eShop using .tiks from teh interwebz.

if that was the case, wouldn't deleting the ticket invalidate all my installs and prevent me from launching the illegally obtained games?

anyway, what's preventing us from having an app like tikshop/tikdevil on the wii u?

it might be possible to have a custom downloader that could download and then install using a disc ticket from that wiiu site.

would be convenient. i hate having to download to pc, copy to sdcard, then install to hard drive.

Afaik, as far as 3ds goes, you don't need the ticket to run the game, just to download it. So u could dl a game, delete the ticket and still play said game. I may be wrong tho.

Also, what would it be cauuled for wii-u? FwiiShop?

Pretty sure you're wrong. The game won't even show up without the ticket.

the point of having a tikshop, is to let it download all the tickets for you so you can access all the eshop and download whatever you like
what i'm trying to figure out is why can't we do that with the wii u

Well, if wii-u has tickets just like 3ds, then theoretically, a freeshop app should be able to be made. Just having the tickets isnt enough to use the regular eshop app to make nintendo think you own those titles. They can see that type of info on their end. Purchases, nnid etc, so any game you try to download that isn't actually seen as purchased on their end won't work. U may have the ticket, but it's not in their records as having been purchased.

Not sure if that's totally right, but what I am sure of is what they can see. Source: long conversation about it with a nintendo supervisor when I had an issue with a system transfer. That's a whole other long story though.

Game will report as corrupted then.

eShop first on boot, checks for tickets. If it finds invalid, fake tickets, it will simply clear them.
If it finds legit ticket belonging to probably other console, it will clear it also.
    So no point, really.

has anyone been able to generate a valid ticket? The reason it works for 3SD is the tickets we make appear legit to the shop. I'm sure this can be done on the wiiu but IDK if the needed information to do so is available to public.

Eh even if it becomes a thing, Wii U download speed is... horrific. Try to download a 8GB game from eShop, it will take literally 30mins-3h.

Yeah that's typical of all Nintendo systems though.
