No offense to the OP, but I personally feel like if your going to be in the homebrew scene, you need to do this kind of stuff yourself, yes it can be daunting, yes it takes a long time, but at the end of the day you learn a lot, and you gain a huge amount of appreciation for the coders who make it all possible in the first place. Not to mention if you have questions you will understand people's answers much better if you know the terms that are being used.
