Now I can choose between Mario 3D World Set (I think it 5.3.2 or below) and Mario Maker Set (5.4 - I already check serial with seller)

I know that 5.4 can use Loadiine GX2, WUP Installer and Firmware Spoofing (That all I need for now)

My mind need Mario Maker (5.4) but I'm afraid that 5.3.2 will get more special things in the future

Can you guy help me decide?

Both 5.3.2 and 5.4.0 have userspace and an unreliable kernel exploit.

As far as I'm aware, anything developed for 5.3.2 can be ported to 5.4.0.

As for the future, I don't think anything's going to change until a dev releases an exploit that covers all firmware versions.

But General rule... you stay on the LOWEST possible exploitable firmware, until we have full access to the system.

5.3.2 will not get more special things, 5.4 is the main target for homebrew right now until IOSU tools come out.
5.4's kernel exploit is more stable as well.
So go with the 5.4, you won't have any issues.

The 5.3.2 kernel exploit and the 5.4.0 one are the same, only the memory addresses are different. The success rate of the Kexploit is influenced by many (mostly unknown) factors, but I don't think the version is one of those.

Source? As far as I know, 5.3.2, 5.4.0 and 5.5.x are the main targets for equal.

Choose the lowest version you can. You can use Mario Maker with 5.3.2 if you spoof it to 5.5.1, but the e-manual will crash.
Also, most homebrew can be ported to other firmwares if the source code is available, as far as you have a working exploit, knowledge and time to do so (or someone to do it for you).

AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that

least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling

They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great

so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously

Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting

Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?

Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more

    Tandem even

i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and nvidia is already doing ARM
