no, you need to. basically the ending makes no sense without 999. not to mention some people think it's even better. still a solid game and a must if you want to get into the series.

you need to try danganronpa. it's a masterpiece. if you like perfect platforming rayman legends is really the best ever and in my top 5 of all time.

If anyone is into music rhythm games then djmax technika tune. It is the only official way to play the djmax technika series at home now since djmax technika q got shut down a while back and unlike technika q, technika tune does not require a internet connection to play.

There are many more games out but this game (bunny)is special and little bit unique.

I'd wager that if you can, get Rayman Origins + Legends. They are so beautiful...

Utawarerumono Trilogy is another series that I want to recommend to you. It was a masterpiece on Vita in term of music, world building and story. VA is great, too.

This series is combined of Visual Novel and SRPG. All main game can be played on Vita, include:

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Omen.
Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception.
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.

The order you need to play is Prelude to the Omen -> Mask of Deception -> Mask of Truth.

Give them a try and you will like it. I just completed all three games last week and their OSTs still stick in my head.
Suara's voice and the melody of Michio Kinugasa is awesome.

Sadly Michio and Fujiwara Keiji (Haku's VA) are both passed away last year.
