Already filled their survey. May post in the thread later in the day. I'm sleepy.
I don't think there will be anymore Mega Man games. If they're asking for ideas about digital content when they already have Mega Man Legends 3 in their possession, it just tells me they don't give a crap about Mega Man anymore. Capcom is no longer the gaming company I used to know.
"Obviously...we're looking to gather some data about your buying habits and what franchises and even title types, you'd like us to make in the future."
Obviously just so you can troll on us again <.<
They ask questions in regards to all of their franchises in the survey, not just mega man.
I even made sure to select Puzzle Fighter, even thou, they asked me about Street Fighter.................
filled the survey and filled it with tons of Battle Network XD
You sick bastard
There was no need for that, you know.
Hey when someone says they just helped attempt to axe murder my favorite series even further, I gotta say something.
No need to argue. It's all megaman. I personally don't care which series we get a new game in as long as it's something.
By the way, I like all the series.
Battle Network is my favorite Megaman series because of several reasons, nostalgia is one, it's the first Megaman I played. I understand what you're saying but everyone can have their own thing to like, calling people names because of that is uncalled for. You have your taste, I have mine, we should just respect each other, no need for arguments.
Wrote down that I don't want any more crappy RE sequels (5-6) and that I won't buy any SINGLE Megaman digital games, but ONLY compilations.
You guys should do the same, single ports are just a theft (marked them as DEFINITELY WON'T BUY), we WANT and NEED a compilation of Classic MM and MMX.
tl;dr: NO to shameless ports, YES to compilations and new games.
I find myself somewhat disheartened with the Megaman franchise, especially now that I discover that my netbook is so impossibly crap that it can't even run the free Street Fighter X Megaman game at full speed. Seriously. The damn thing's basically a very well hacked NES rom and I STILL can't play it. I need a new computer
That's because the programmer was a lazy arse. If the game was well programmed (x86 ASM, mother****er) it could even run on a Pentium 1.
Well, we can't ask much from a programmer who did that on his free time, tho!
I'd give it a few months before someone finds a way of re-coding it to work on PSP or something anyway, that seems to happen around here with alarming regularity
I re-edited the post to stick to USN rules. Read the template thread and use that next time, thanks!
Mega Man fans will cling to any shred of hope, huh?
Then again, I dropped everything to sign that Timesplitters petition when that came out, so I can't exactly say I don't understand it.
I selected NO BUY for all single games except Battle Network 6 (that one was a must buy, and I'm not kidding either), MUST BUY for the compilations and must buy for one or two other things I think.
I filled it off not jerking off to Megaman because I like games.
Seriously though not enough options for Dragon's Dogma despite it being better than like every Capcom game in years.
This survey is such crap. I selected Resident Evil as my favorite franchise, and all they asked me was what games I'd like Ported.
I don't want freaking ports, I want to go back to the horror of the franchise. Where the hell are my Dogs busting through windows???
I really hope this leads to something and isn't just done in vain.
MegaMan is on the verge of death. He's on his way to joining other video game franchises such as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Jak & Daxter, Banjo & Kazooie, etc. Fans have already voiced their opinions on where they would like to see the MegaMan franchise go on various forums, blogs, social networking, etc. Capcom needs to get off its lazy ass and give a proper reboot to the series. Ubisoft did it with Rayman Origins and Nintendo did it with Donkey Kong Returns.
