And a master key/activation key is provided, will it deny it if another person has already used it?

For the initial installation it won't but to get any automatic updates make sure you don't download WGA checker.
A VLK (corporate) edition should not ask you to activate. Of course, downloading Microsoft software that requires validation (Windows Media Player...) will not work.
Yes it will. It all depends on the VLK key you use...
It's a cat n mouse game with MS. Find a new key, it works for 6 months, then they ban it.
If you don't install the WGA validator, they will never check.
Any key will be fine.
