but say would copying a car be the same as stealing it. if your car gets stolen its gone and you can't drive it if some one copyed it you can still drvie it its just that other person will have same car as you does not hurt you it only hurts the car compnany

used games work best if you buy a bunch since the saved money from each used game will be able to be used for some thing else say a games only like 10 dollars cheaper then it new but if i buy a butch i keep 10 dollars for each used game i buy depending on it pirce of the game

Except piracy doesn't actually hurt the company at all. They just have less profit.

Piracy = Making a copy of an existing thing instead of buying it. You gain something and lose nothing. The company gains nothing and loses an opportunity to gain something.

Stealing = Taking something without buying it. You gain something and lose nothing. The company gains nothing an loses both a copy of the item and a chance to sell it.

Both are illegal, and in the end, both are bad for the company. Piracy may be better than stealing, but they are both bad things to do.

People get caught pirating and people get caught stealing.
People sell used games and people sell used cars.
@kongsnutz is the perfect example of someone who uploaded a pirated copy of NSMBWii and got caught.

Selling a game/car that's used is perfectly fine.
As said before, it'll fill up dumps n what not extremely quick if selling used things wasn't allowed.
Comparing selling used products to pirating/stealing is comparing murder to giving birth.

Well, next time you go to your favorite game store to buy a game that's sold out what are you gonna do? Hope they make more, and if not just never be able to play it? Also if you wanna take a step further, you can't "borrow" a copy from your friend or visit them to play it cause you didn't pay for it. You just gonna not play cause you was unable to pay for it like normal and support the devs?

The devs do their job right, make games people wanna buy and sell enough copies, If we didn't have the problem we do now the problem wouldn't exist. Not that reselling is a issue for some people but just as the law says if we earned it or own it, we free to do whatever we want with it. If people wanna buy copies of shaq fu to destory, they can. If microsoft wanna add those "E3 Quotes" bout DRM Free problems in games and want to encourage everyone to buy the stuff normally then thy can, if they wanna ruin their reputation in the game market they can.

Weather or not this will change in the future, people will never be happy with the way things are or will progress in the future. I don't wanna spend $60 for a game that was not worth tht much according to me, but no one cares. Too many cocky devs in the business today than they were before. Some need to take down and realize that they should put more effort into the game and not try to support it with updates years after release. Make a new game, give people reason to buy it brand new on launch day and stop screwing us over.

You also don't go and buy a car without making a test drive in it?
