used games kind of have same effect as piracy as the developer does not make money of them so it does the same kind of thing you still have to pay for the game its just the developer does not get your money. makes me think why used games are legal and piracys not. with piracy you get game for free when the games not ment to be free with used games you have to pay but you pay less then the proper price that the games ment to be.

That means that the game already has been bought once so the developer already got it's tiny share from it.

Ask yourself the same question yet replace game with car.
You're basically saying that everyone is forced to purchase a new car for ~15 grand so that the company gets a percentage.
Not everyone can afford 15 grand.

Except in piracy, you aren't playing the person who uploaded the game's copy, you're playing an illicit copy of that game which neither you nor anyone else was authorized to make. Reselling is actually giving your game to someone else; they are playing your actual game that you paid for. It's not at all the same.
