So, I was using the TX OS to play Mario Tennis Aces and of course, I suck at the game....so, I noticed there was a save editor on this site. So, of course, I tried to use it. Well, my MicroSD card is in exFAT....so of course, loading homebrew required me to go to the properties of the MicroSD card and uncheck that archive option. Of course what do I do? I select ALL the files and apply to ALL files....apparently, that wasn't a good idea...once I was back in TX OS, all my games gave an error....so, I tried to re-enable the archive thing, I mean, that's all I changed, so I figured that might fix it. NOPE! All that did was make it where my Switch couldn't read the MicroSD card at all...yea....sooo, now I am losing all my games, saves, etc...of course, I could backup the card's content, format it and copy everything over....but, Win32Image says it's going to take 2 hours just to back up the content.....maybe what I should do is just change the folders attributes and NOT the xci files...

Why would you even mess with those options? All you needed to do was drag and drop the hb menu file to the root of your Sd card and create a folder called switch to put your homebrew in. Loading homebrew doesn’t require you to mess with any sd card properties

with my previous card (32GB one), I couldn't get homebrew to work with exFAT. Then someone on reddit said to disable the archive option. That worked...for homebrew. But, if you do that for the entire card, it messes up your XCI files. Even if you go back and try to re-enable it, it won't work. But, with an exFAT formatted card, that was the only way I could get programs to show in HBL....

I formatted the card in the Switch and now it won't read it at all....I can format it but as soon as I boot it back up, it says it can't access SD card....which is odd, because I can boot TX OS with it.....

Of course we always learn something from our mistakes. Of course you will not do it again, of course the save files for played games aren't all stored at the internal memory since the SX spoofs the games as game cards?
