Wouldnt the top banner on the other cnet sites have a link to gbatemp?
Not necessarily. Other CNET sites do not have this.
Either that, or the button has not been made yet.
The publicity banner is even more suspicious.
Yeah , I just saw that fuckin publicity and this sux
i cant see the banner.
On real cnet sites, the top bar isn't locked to the top of the window. It scrolls like normal content.
Also, the error page has this link
I don't think CNET uses open source hosting.
This thing is starting to make sense, and I'm starting to smile again.
Why god dammit. WHY!?!?!?!??!
they have to know that a large portion of users will leave, and a huge new wave of noobs will take over, and this site will die....
How could anyone believe this for a moment? IT'S APRIL FOOLS DAY. BE SUSPICIOUS.
site will die slowly, painfully...
Now dont quote me on this but on gamefaqs, the bar at the top has never scrolled.
Yep, one on Gamefaqs doesn't scroll at all. Neither does the one on Gamespot.
Well... I can tell you the bar indeed behaves differently on GBAtemp, than Gamefaqs or Gamespot. Stays locked in place on GBAtemp. Always visible, even if I scroll the page down.
With every other Cnet site I'm aware of. Gamefaqs, Gamespot, mp3.com, Sportsgamer, etc. It's part of the normal page and can be scrolled out of sight.
CNET discussions are inappropriate.
Thanks for your understanding
