Gaming Icons take forever to load on emuNAND.

Hey guys,

is it common that the homemenu icons and badges take about 10~15 seconds to show up on the title menu in emuNAND?
I do have about 20 Icons, 5 badges and two folders on 5 rows. + custome theme with BGM.
I use a SanDisk Extreme with 16GB. About 2GB free space.

I dont know if these load times are common, but I feel like it should be way faster with the SD Ive got.
Or would a bigger SD card speed up the load times? Any recommendations for one? I have about 15€ and live in Germany.

Im using a o3DS with 9.2E sysNAND downgraded from 10.3E.
10.3E emuNAND
Some rxTool 3.0 nightly.

Probably related to the SD speed, you should get a higher class. Check this:

EDIT: Just googled your SD and it seems fast enough, I guess the own system is at fault like the user under me says

Also, I do know that past 9.0 (or whatever update it was...) icons load slower on O3DS. If you're on O3DS, you may just have to bare with it, unfortunately.

Without any badges or special stuff, mine can take up to 5 seconds on emuNAND. So I assume if you have anything specal coupled with your emuNAND's SD read speed, you might be looking at a reasonable gap.

Just got a new Sandisk Extreme 4 U3 with 64GB and no improvment.
Bummer.

Maybe try putting some of your apps in folders?

Would probably work, but I like how my home menu looks right now.
I needed a new SD anyway, so no huge lose.
