Does anyone know what the icon format of the G6 main menu is? I wanna try to create something that converts bmps to icons for homebrew and other things

Sorry for continuing the 7 month bump but...I was just wondering, which icons were you talking about? Is it the one in the Media drop down menu? I was reading through a few of the older threads for skin converters and the only one I found only changed the skin for the Media section, not the "NDS Games" Section that my G6 starts of in.

You can change the background of the NDS menu by putting a 256x192 bitmap called DESKTOP.BMP in the pdaDS\shell\ directory. The icons displayed next to the files can be made using a program called G6 Image:

    http://www.squitterdev.com/files/pic_G6.zip

It can also be used to make icons for the GBA menu.
