Is there any 3ds homebrew that needs a 3ds flashcart, or would it all be made for the old ds carts? Mainly thinking emulators here

There are various emulators. You won't need anything but an homebrew entrypoint

Mk cool so I can definitely cross gateway off my list, just need an r4i cart for original ds games, a 64gb sd card for lots of storage breathing room, and the system itself

or you can try Acekard 2i
