Have you sent them an email to see what the status of your account is?i sent a request 5 month ago to nintendo to have this build of unity (with the developper programm) but no responses at all, is it normal ?
i sent now an email to [email protected] because it's really strange to wait so longHave you sent them an email to see what the status of your account is?
Waiting 5 months is definitely not normal!
Unity is more for the developers who wish to mainly make 3D games (as well as the option to make 2D with it as well, but it's mostly 3D), however there is also the NWF exporter plugin and the Construct 2 Wii U exporter plugin. But I have never had any experience with using NWF or Construct, so I don't have much to say about them except that they are also options for producing software for the Wii U as well.i sent now an email to [email protected] because it's really strange to wait so long
i learned the html5 specially to use the nintendo web framework too so it's annoying
i'll use unity too but i want to learn the two to be familiar with the two methods

I don't see why not. As long as you can optimize scripts and what-not that the scene uses, then anything's possible when porting from PC -> Wii U, I guess. If you got a Unity scene file for a PC Game, can you launch it with Unity Wii U ?
i'm new to developpement but i want to make good games, my objective is not to make for money so i checked the case "free games" i hope my games will be goodUnity is more for the developers who wish to mainly make 3D games (as well as the option to make 2D with it as well, but it's mostly 3D), however there is also the NWF exporter plugin and the Construct 2 Wii U exporter plugin. voxel studios : how long did you wait to have your unity wii u build ?
For me, it was around 3 weeks to a month, so not really that long in the great scheme of things...voxel studios : how long did you wait to have your unity wii u build ?

Not forced as such, but it's very highly recommended.i see, we aren't forced to obtain the dev kit ? because i haven't really need of this you know why![]()
my objective is to make free games so it's not as bad than it makes sound, i'll just share the game on the net to download on any wii u with loadiineNot forced as such, but it's very highly recommended.
If you are thinking about actually submitting works to the eShop, then you must buy a DevKit, otherwise your game will not pass LotCheck (The Submission Process) as Nintendo will have most likely assumed you have not tested the game on development hardware.

thanks ^^Good luck![]()
thanks ^^
my dream is to make a lot of free games who could have the level of the "normal" games and not pay2win but not paying at all
i don't know exactly, i'll see unity, but i think i'll begin with easy things, construct 2 who seems to be easy for beginners, after that, when my level will be good, i'll use more advanced softwaresYou'll use Unity ?
That is very risky unless you are very good at disguising yourself on the internet away from the reach of Nintendo. I was wondering to myself about this last week, and decided to pull my Stick Magician demo from that ISO site due to morals™ and wanting to build up a good reputation for myself when I decide to actually partner up with the big gaming giants and go into proper commercial game developing!i'll just share the game on the net to download on any wii u with loadiine

By all means do it, however your game will practically still be in the hands of Nintendo because you are distributing compiled and copyrighted code made from both the Unity Wii U exporter, and the Wii U SDK, which technically belong to Nintendo and are propietary pieces of software, and you may find yourself being in a bit of legal bother. Unfortunate, but true.
However, Nintendo never seem to take any action anyway, so... still go for it, I guess?
