its a musou game, you don't need to know anything to play it.
musou game,i.e samurai warriors , the whole game ? either way i would still prefer it in English of course .. i actually was hoping it was a RPG with SW elements more RPG would have been nicer not really a fan of SW gets old fast for me ....

oh very nice thanks for that ... have u played much of the game at all ? is it just a samurai warriors clone type thing ? it kinda puts me off if it is .... but it looks so good on the OLED screen ..... !!

I've played about an hour of it (to see how the game runs), but I got stuck in the first town you get to after a little bit of fighting, so an English patch would definitely help in this case. From what I've played, the free roaming aspect of it was a fresh departure from Samurai Warriors' maps and the usual stronghold/escort missions. It's been a while since I played it, and it was a little early on in the game, but the moveset was slightly less robust

(it does seem to use the dynasty warriors engine, which is real sad, look how berserk from the ps2 which got translated into english that was great, then look at the ps4/vita versions, same o' same, now look at dragon quest heroes 2, doesn't seem to be original. Then if you look at the "Attack on Titan" it seems to have done something original.................Great if it does reach a release, but I wouldn't go out of my way to play it otherwise. Not worth the trouble, the same was true for the gundam super robot war clones, that was until Gundam Over World Generation psp got translated, then it gained some attention (not enough attention to warrant a purchase of the new game on psp vita that was released in english, as simply a super robot wars clone)

i agree about Attack on Titan that was a fresh idea .. & it made the game fun to play .. ive never liked Samuari warriors like ive said ,.. but i also never played any Dragon Quest Hero games ever .., Except for builders .. which of course is a semi minecraft clone ,,, but i hate minecraft .. dragon quest builders kept me intrested for a while simply becasue it had set goals ... rather than a sandbox ...

Risk of Rain is ok it only dealt with weapons..........the other line of games like that, which deals with the video game version of foot and mouth disease, in resource management, aka, Airship Q, Terraria, Dragon Quest Builders (sad result of the campaign to promote live services and the trophy system ... that is the lack of the story book element, the persona of the game takes favor, rather than the end user's fan service) (guess I should flip that description around, how about, the end user sells their imagination and gains fidelity from the rigid elements of the game world, taking home their own enlightenment..............reverse that equation, the end user buys a certain level of gratification with the ability of imposing in, and, on whatever "x" specific game world is in view, then, sells their high expectations for whatever they are handed)

(now if you ask me about the porno industry offering free trials, less then a few years after the internet took root.............and then pairing that with the game services and companies of today, and then you ask why are we not getting free trials with every game purchase from sony/xbox/nintendo?)

(not to imply any of this is the true solution of, no nothing, not at all, in terms of the end of time) (back to the real issue, the ps4 can play ps1/ps2/ps3 by streaming, then from sony, then why can't we just download them all? why play games with us)
