Games: CS:GO, COD, Among Us, Mortal Kombat 11.
( i also like to play emulators like ps2, psp, GameCube, etc.)
Monitor: 2560x1440 (idk what model)


PC Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
16GB 2666MHz TeamGroup RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
240GB m.2 SSD

It makes more sense to upgrade both your cpu and gpu.
Get a Ryzen 5 5600X and a RX6800. It should cost around 900 usd total.

I mean he would have to upgrade his ram also zen 3 favours 3200mhz

And ryzen 5000 favours even faster speeds and lower timings.

Go for 3070. Amd Driver support sucks! Also DLSS and RT support for games is already there. Your CPU and Ram are good enough.

i just noticed that RTX 3070's arent in stock, so until they do go back in stock then im going for AMD GPUs
