Hacking i want to softmod my wii to run backups but...

I'm sorry if this posted before but i was searching on google and on the sticky's but i couldnt find it.

I want to soft mod my 4.2 firmware but i am worried that i might get banned on wi-fi and the main reason why i want to mod it is to play puyo puyo 7 online.

You'll only get banned if you use cheats, I believe.

Well to softmod, use: Modify any Wii 4.2 & below

And for cheats:

1. Use Code Downloader to get the Puyo Puyo 7 cheats for USA
2. Use CheatManager to select codes you want to use and save as a .gct
3. If it is a backup disc, use Gecko OS and it will automatically use the cheats in the .gct file!
